Never have six women owned a stage like these ladies. They will have you howling with laughter and crying with tears as they reveal their strengths and weaknesses. In the end, they are true southern belles with the strength and beauty that is a steel magnolia.

This musical comedy review uses song styles as varied as country-Western ditties, tangos and ballads. Each number explores those secret thoughts anyone’s had about dating, romance, marriage, lovers, husbands, wives, and in-laws, but was afraid to admit.

9 to 5 The Musical, with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton is based on the 1980 hit movie. Set in the late 1970s. this hilarious story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era is outrageous, thought-provoking and even a little romantic. Pushed to the boiling point, three female coworkers concoct a plan to get even with the sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot they call their boss. In a hilarious turn of events, they live out their wildest fantasy – giving their boss the boot! The women give their workplace a dream makeover, taking control of the company that had always kept them down.
